Android Apps - Calendar Widgets Review / Calwidget / Laiks Agenda / Pure Calendar / Google Calendar

Calwidget:Its a nice calender widget called Calwidget. It gives you multiple sizes to choose from (2x1, 2x2, 3x2, etc), and shows multiple entries. CalWidget is better as it uses different colors for times and event descriptions And its free.

But a problem is reported with CalWidget transparency as it stay transparent no matter the settings. It's just showing the text and not a box. you will have to be careful with background to use because it could make it difficult to read the words.
Problems with calwidgit:
1. Any changes made to transparency (or anything) only take effect after you remove and re-add the widget
2. There's a problem when switching to landscape. After you refresh calWidget and switch to landscape it stays stuck on loading even after switching back to normal mode. Can only be fixed by removing and re-adding calWidget. Annoying as hell.

Laiks Agenda: (free and paid versions)Works very much the same like Calwidget, but its readable and it shows more calendar data in less space. Ideal calendar has the date, day, month and year. It would also have a brief summary of at least today's agenda. Most of the widgets out there have just the date/etc. Laik + Pure Calendar manage to do it all without taking up the entire screen.
Pure Calendar: Worth 2Dollars. Fully customizable, transparent, 2x2 up to 4x4. It look great on a Droid and you will have zero regrets.

Google Calendar:Google Calendar Widget is also good which is may be made by someone aside from Google. It looks sleeker, but the problem is the layout's messed up. Anything past the third calender entry gets rendered near the edge of the box, where it can't be read.
