QPST and QXDM for diamond / Touch Pro

I am brand new to cell phones so please excuse the very basic questions and problems I am having. I am trying to get QPST to work with my Sprint Touch Pro that I am porting over to Verizon. I am using 301 since it is suppose to work. I can not get it to recognize the phone. Do I need Active Sync running when I am trying to use QPST?

When I try to find the com port in device mgr, I only find an entry under network adapters that says Windows Mobile Based Device-no com port listed. I am using USB for the connection of course. I find nothing under USB Controllers that says HTC Device or the like. I have tried adding com ports to QPST but can not find one that it recognizes. How can I get this software to work with my Touch Pro so I can finish programming it?

I figured out that I did not have the phone in DMR mode. Once I put it in DMR mode, I was able to get QPST to recognize the phone-no problem. I am on my way again-just takes some time and patience.

Samsung Fascinate Diag mode driver / QPST / QXDM / CDMA

Does anyone know information about how to connect the Samsung Fascinate as Diag Mode driver? ie: this type of connection needed for QPST/QXDM/CDMA Workshop.

I tried 'debugging mode' enabled from the settings in the Applications, but it didn't create any new port that would recognize for my phone.

The Epic solution is pretty strait forward
Install USB Drivers:
32 Bit or 64 Bit

Put phone into DIAG mode:
Dial ##8778#
Select UART = Modem, USB = Modem.
This doesn't seem to work on Fascinate though.

Android - Enable Diagnostic Mode to use QXDM / QPST on HTC Android devices

Trying to found out how to enable "diagnostic" mode on an HTC Android device, specifically a T-Mobile G2 / HTC Desire Z. In my searching I hadn't found anything like this for HTC Android phones. The closest I have come is how to do it for Motorola Android phones (i.e. the Droid -> holding "T" when powering up).

I am trying to use QPST/QXDM and I think I have HW VSP working, but I still need the phone to be setup to send data (in diagnostic mode).
