I don't really feel that much of a difference with the experience I have with different HTC phones but then again, they might differ from model to model. This is especially since I got an iPod Touch, a Nexus S (previously Galaxy S), and at least one HTC phone with me almost all the time, whether its my HTC Desire Z (previously Desire) or Droid Incredible. When I mean all the time, I mean like even right now as I type.
I will keep it in mind if I ever come across an Inspire, Desire HD or Thunderbolt since the one thing missing in my collection are 4.3" HTCs. Or any 4.3" phone of any brand for that matter. I got a feeling it's all due to the size of the screen---the sensors got more space between them when you have the same number of sensors on the screen regardless of the screen size.
